Pride

I love writing, as I'm sure Iv'e mentioned before, I'm trying to write a three book series before I die. To try to leave my mark on the world in an influencing way. I made this trailer as a sortof preview or an summary of the three books. I hope whoever has stumbled upon the page enjoys. P.S. I passed my driver's test. It wasn't that scary, but I thought my driver's teacher was going to fall asleep, someone wake him up?

Adorable, yes?

Scared

I failed my driver's test last Thursday, awesome, right? Not the permit, the actual driving part. I freaked and hit a cone. It ends up I went on the wrong day, so an hour from now I will be going again. I'm pretty nervous. I don't know why I get so worked up about these things. I mean I have to pass one day. It's not even me being embarassed or anything, because I'm not. It's actually kindof funny that I failed. I just really want it to be out of the way. I need to trust in God, put it all on the line for Him, but can I? I don't like looking ahead to towards things when I know their coming. It's basically like a tidal wave to me. It's hovering above me, I know it's coming and I have to choose. Either ride the wave, or drown underneath of it. I hope I don't get knocked out. If I do, wake me up?

Always Bored

So I'm basically chilling in my library, my brother is across from me on his lab top. My Korean exchange student is a few tables away. He didn't want to be seen with us (wowww). I'm trying to finish up the first Pendragon book. It's amazing, I'm almost done journal four. Another action packed book, a little slow for my taste, I'm used to things jumping out of nowhere, but still I can see it getting better throughout the series. I'm surprised it took me this long to read it. I really want to start blasting out the Maine, but then again, I'm in a library and that's kind of against the rules, right? Oh, just a heads up, if you like bands like The Maine, look for the We the Kings concert July 28, Jackson, New Jersey, Six flags. HCR, Action Item, Downtown Fiction, and more are going to be playing. I went last year to see The Maine and it was amazing, John Ohh wasn't bad himself ;) Can't wait, hopefully I'll get out of work, which is babysitting, WHICH IS REAL WORK TOO PEOPLE! Once the summer starts I don't care about the job, as long as I get the dough. Wow, didn't mean to put it in caps, I must be getting tired. Can somebody please wake me up?

Weep for the man who lost his soul, somewhere among the trees.
Weep for the figs who bore the pain of corrupt humanity.
Weep for the children who climbed the branches at play,
Weep for the man who found his soul, in the mouthes
where the dead children lay.

Hi, I'm Shelby, a little bored: yes. I'm trying to make it in life, babysitting, cleaning, working, school, and sports. It's a busy life, but then again it's the 21st century. I wouldn't expect anything less. I like blogging so far. I read blogs fersure, like James Dashner's: The Dashner Dude (Author of The Maze Runner & The Scorth Trials) He's an amazing author, alogn with Michael Grant and Ted Dekker. If you ever want an amazing book to read, you'll find it here. I know about some of the best. Bands, movies, you name it and I'll tell you about those that have changed not only the world but me, and that's a huge accomplishment because I am not easily swayed. I feel tired, now. I'll be on later. Promise to wake me up?
